The New Version of the National Standard for Restricting Excessive Packaging of Goods Has Standardized the Packaging Requirements of 31 Categories of Food and 16 Categories of Cosmetics

On September 2, the Department of standards and technology of the State Administration of market supervision held a press conference on the mandatory national standard GB 23350-2021 requirements for restricting excessive packaging of commodities, food and cosmetics. This standard has been approved and issued by the State Administration of market supervision (National Standards Committee) and will be implemented on September 1, 2023.
