The supply of kraft paper in Germany continues to be tight. Therefore, the seller is considering raising the price from October and has begun price negotiations for next year's delivery.

In view of the tight supply of kraft paper market and the price negotiation in the coming year, the corrugated board industry and its customers hope to ensure reliable supply in early 2022.

The supply situation is expected to become more tense in the fourth quarter of 2021, which is usually the strongest quarter of demand in the industry in a year. In addition, in some areas, the fourth quarter is the time for paper machine maintenance.

The price rise of waste cardboard announced in September prompted kraft paper manufacturers to consider similar measures in October. However, in the third week of August, deep-processing manufacturers have not received any notice in this part.
